The Safe + Fair Food Company was founded by two friends whose children have food allergies. Our mission is to improve the lives of food allergic people as well as the lives of their families, friends, and communities. We provide clean label food that is safe for millions of people and available at fair prices.
SAFE + FAIR is a clean label food company and we believe in making foods that are safe, fair, wholesome and delicious. Our products are rigorously tested, clearly labeled, and affordably priced so families can easily make decisions about which products work for them. We currently sell through 3 different channels: schools, airlines and eCommerce.
We also support cutting-edge allergy research by partnering with the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University, to which 3% of proceeds are donated.

About the Position
We are seeking results-oriented self-starters to become Brand Ambassadors based in the Greater Chicagoland Area. Ideal candidate will have a child with a food allergy, a passion for safe, clean label foods and be active in their community.
- Research, create and run marketing events relevant to the brand and to the community.
- Create, build and maintain relationships within given territory, particularly with market influencers, increasing brand visibility.
- Partner with like-minded companies and organizations in your community.
- Gather important insights and consumer feedback to present to supervisor.
- Create a unique customer experience to increase brand awareness, build customer loyalty and ultimately drive sales.
- Promote SAFE + FAIR initiatives through personal network and social media.
Engage and educate consumers.
Represent SAFE + FAIR at your child’s school as well as at various field marketing events and sampling activations.
Outgoing, reliable, responsible and driven to push sales.
Events management, promotions, media or consumer products marketing a plus.
Knowledge of events going on in your community.
Willing to regularly work early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on event schedules.
A child with a food allergy so that you can better relate to our customers and share your personal experiences.
An existing network of relevant contacts, specifically within your community and the food allergy community.
Reliable transportation to and from events for yourself and supplies.
The ability to lift heavy items including tents, tables, and boxes up to 50 lbs.
