Honeycrisp Apple Pie Bars

Honeycrisp Apple Pie Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts, thawed according to package
  • 10 small apples (mix of granny smith + honey crisp) peeled and diced 
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400*
  2. Line the bottom of a 10x14 baking dish with pie crust
  3. In a large bowl, add diced apples, lemon juice, flour, sugar and cinnamon.  Toss to coat apples evenly
  4. Pour apples over pie crust 
  5. To make the crumble, add the butter, flour and sugar in a bowl and mix together until it resembles wet sand 
  6. Fold in the Honeycrisp Apple Pie Granola
  7. Pour crumble in an even layer over the apples
  8. Bake at 400* for 35-45 minutes, just until the crumble is golden and filling is bubbly
